1. Scope
This draft applies only to SumTrail App subscriptions. The Personal Finance Control spreadsheet is sold separately through Selar and remains subject to the purchase terms and refund information shown in that independent checkout.
2. Trial and renewal charges
The SumTrail App is intended to offer a 14 days trial with a payment method required before the trial begins. A customer may cancel before the trial ends to prevent the first recurring charge. After billing starts, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
3. Refund requests

Requests should include the account email and transaction reference, but never a full card number. Submit requests to [SUPPORT EMAIL REQUIRED]. When a Merchant of Record is enabled, customers may also need to use that provider's buyer-support process.
4. Effect on access
- Cancellation: access continues through the already-paid current period, then expires.
- Failed renewal: access is not revoked before the already-paid period ends; payment recovery may continue.
- Full refund: access is revoked when the full reversal becomes effective.
- Chargeback: access is revoked when the full reversal becomes effective.
- Partial refund: entitlement remains unchanged unless an authorized administrative action overrides it.
5. Mandatory rights
Nothing in the final policy may limit refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. If mandatory law conflicts with this policy, the mandatory rule applies.
